A mod like The Forgotten City is a perfect opportunity to revisit good old Skyrim.

The Forgotten City, an amibitous mod for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, is now available. This fan-made modification, which actually looks more like a full-fledged expansion pack, introduces a new story, items, enemies and more. Dovahkiin has to investigate a mystery of atrocious murders. In order to do this, the hero goes back in time and visits an ancient underground city. While playing you get to learn the dark story through exploration, interrogating suspects, fighting enemies, and time travels. The Forgotten City provides 6-8 hours of gameplay.

To give an impression of the scale of works put in the modification, note that The Forgotten City features an original orchestral soundtrack, new detailed location, non-linear story with tough moral choices and different endings, logic puzzles, and over 1200 lines of dialogue recorded by 18 voice actors. You can download The Forgotten City for free (provided you own a copy of Skyrim) from ModDB.com or Steam Workshop.
