After six delays Skull and Bones has reportedly received a new release date. Popular industry insider Tom Henderson reports, that Ubisoft plans to release the game on February 16, 2024.
The news coincides with information contained in the French company's financial report for the first half of the 2023 fiscal year, which we brought you up to speed on here.
- According to them Skull and Bones is expected to be released in the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2023, that is, between January and March 2024.
- Moreover, this was confirmed by Darryl Long, who in recent weeks stepped down as managing director at Ubisoft to head its Toronto division.
Although pre-orders for Skull and Bones can be placed for some time now, according to Henderson's information, the Premium version of the game - priced at $89.99 and includes a soundtrack, artbook, additional missions, etc. - is supposed to guarantee the ability to start playing three days before the game's official debut.
However, we have to wait for confirmation of these reports. It seems quite likely that Ubisoft may officially announce the release date of Skull and Bones during The Game Awards 2023 gala, which will take place on the night of December 7.
Skull and Bones is scheduled for release on PC, PS5 and XSX/S.
