Skull and Bones Testers Remain Dissatisfied
Testers are reporting more problems with Skull and Bones. Ubisoft's game is said to be full of bugs and incomplete. Another delay is not out of the question.
Recently we learned, that Ubisoft was forced to postpone the release of Skull and Bones for the sixth time - supposedly in order to polish it. The question is: are the final touches really being made, or do the French still have a ton of work ahead of them?
Insider Gaming reports that it has spoken to ten people who have had a chance to play Skull and Bones for about six hours during the recent testing. At most, two of them can reportedly be said to have been satisfied. The rest are allegedly of the opinion that the title is nothing special.
What's more, several of the testers interviewed by IG were said to have declared that they would not participate in the next tests, despite the invitation they had already received. Remarkable, right? What's more, some of them reportedly report numerous bugs plaguing Skull and Bones and the incompleteness of the game - pointing out, for example, the lack of combat and exploration on land, the absence of which in Ubisoft's game are hard to explain for him (this is, in a way, a confirmation of the revelations of Tom Henderson).
This, and the words of two anonymous developers, may suggest that even if Skull and Bones will be released within a few months, it won't happen before the second half of 2023. This is also supported by the fact that Ubisoft canceled a presentation to industry media scheduled for the first week of February.
Thus, it looks like we won't be seeing Skull and Bones anytime soon. As a reminder, the game is headed for PC, PS5 and XSX/S.
