Skirmish Mode in Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord - Gameplay in 4K
There's a new video showing Skirmish mode in Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord on the web. Gameplay was recorded at 4K and 60 fps. Naturally, it focuses mostly on combat.
IGN channel on YouTube published a video, showing almost 10-minute gameplay recording from the beta version of Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord. Gameplay presents an entire match in Skirmish mode in 4K resolution and 60 frames per second. Let us remind you that subscriptions to closed beta-tests started some time ago (you can still send application forms). You can watch the IGN material below.
The video shows a single game in Skirmish mode. The footage does not contain cuts or edits. We can see in it the elements combat with melee as well as ranged weapon (javelin and bow). There are also clashes with players moving on horses. The location where the skirmish is played on was presented earlier inone of the gameplays released by the Turkish studio TaleWorlds. Now, however, the material comes from a source unrelated to the creators, and it is in 4K. And you have to admit, you can tell it's 4k. Textures are of good quality (for M&B) and the gameplay looks smooth.
It is worth mentioning that during gamescom 2019 developers announced that Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord will debut in early access on Steam in 2020. Unfortunately, we still don't know the exact release date of the game.
