Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened With New Gameplay and Demo
Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened got some new gameplay footage. A demo of the game has also been made available on Steam, enabling us to check out the remake in action.
Ukrainian studio Frogwares, responsible for the Sherlock Holmes series, has revealed a new gameplay from its latest work - Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened. The footage was supplemented with commentary from the developers. The remake of the game released in 2006 is maintained in the Lovecraftian horror convention. In addition, a demo of the game is available for download on Steam. It can be tested by anyone interested.
The action of the game will take place in several diverse locations, such as Victorian London, an asylum in Switzerland, swams of Louisiana and New Orleans, as well as the coast of Scotland. Players will experience the adventure by observing events from third-person perspective (TPP), and will have the opportunity to play as both Sherlock Holmes himself and his friend Dr. Watson.
The theme of the game will be mysterious cases that the players will have to solve. Through conversations with the characters you encounter, finding clues and solving puzzles, the protagonist will gradually get closer to solving each mystery.
Premiere of Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened will take place later in the first quarter of the year and will be available on all major platforms, including PC, Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
