Satisfactory - Sales Results on Steam and Epic Games Store
A representative of Coffee Stain Studios revealed exactly how many people bought Satisfactory on Steam and how many on Epic Games store (where it was a temporary exclusive).

- 367,601 copies were sold on Steam in less than a month.
Jace Varlet of Coffee Stain Studios revealed that Satisfactory sold 1,326,518 copies (as of June 30, 2020), 958,917 copies of which were purchased on Epic Games Store and 367,601 copies on Steam. Looking at the figures, it is important to note that the game debuted on Valve's platform on June 8, this year, less than a month ago, while the title has been available on Epic Games Store for over a year now.
According to Jace Varlet, there are three factors that make Satisfactory sell faster on Steam: more users of Valve's platform, the ongoing summer sale (the game is available at a discount of -10%) and the fact that the game is now much more refined than on the day it was released on Epic Games Store.
Satisfactory is a combination of FPP economic strategy game and simulation. The player's task is to create a smoothly functioning factory complex on an alien planet. The title is currently in early access on Steam and in Epic Games store. The release date of the full version is not yet known.
