Satisfactory - Coal Generator and Conveyor Belt not Working Bug Explained
In Satisfactory, the factory needs energy, which it can get via coal and power plants. However, recently bugs often disrupt this activity. We will explain this issue in our guide.
Satisfactory is a first-person perspective title. It is a combination of simulation and economic game. After 8 years of development, this adventure finally reached version 1.0 (and with it, new crashes and dedicated server issues). The player's task is to create a prosperous factory complex. To do this, such constructions as a coal power plant or conveyor belts will come in handy. Unfortunately, numerous fans encounter some problems that involve the previously mentioned structures. If you want to learn more about this bug, we explain what it is all about in our guide.
Why Coal Power Plant and Conveyor Belt don’t work in Satisfactory?
Coal power plant and conveyor belts are structures that are quite interconnected. The first needs coal to generate the energy that is required to power the rest of the machines. The second, on the other hand, is used to transport raw materials.
The problem is that quite a few players complain that the coal does not reach the generator, causing power production to stand still. There are many different theories as to why this happens, such as that if you don't have this resource in your inventory, production will stagnate... Nevertheless, the error occurs at random times and no one is 100% certain why.
To deal with this persistent bug, it is a good idea to manually remove the coal from the conveyor belt, and then reload the game. Unfortunately, this method does not guarantee that the problem will not occur again.
At this point, the developers of the game are aware of the bug and are doing their best to fix it as soon as possible. There is nothing left to do but wait for the next patch, improving the state and performance of Satisfactory.
