Saints Row: The Third Remastered on Steam; Free PS5 and XSX Update
The new version of Saints Row: The Third Remastered for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles will be made available at the end of May for free to all owners of the game. Next week the title will also go on sale on Steam and GOG.
Saints Row: The Third Remastered is the upgraded third installment of the Saints Row series. The game was released in May, last year on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC as Epic Games Store exclusive. The title's publisher, Deep Silver, has confirmed that on May 25, PlayStation 5 and Xbox X Series S owners will have access to a free upgrade for the 9th-gen consoles,, which will improve the game's visuals and performance. A little earlier, on May 22, Saints Row: The Third Remastered will go on sale on PC on Steam and GOG.com.
According to the developers, the free update for Saints Row: The Third Remastered will provide the same quality of visuals as when playing on PC with all visuals options set to high. On Sony and Microsoft's flagship hardware, the crazy gangster sandbox will run at a dynamic 4K resolution and 60 fps. Owners of the weaker Xbox Series S will be able to choose between 1080p at 60 fps or 4K at 30 fps.
