The GPU is supposed to be 9% faster than the standard RTX 3090 model and is intended for enthusiasts and people involved in graphics or video processing.
- For the reference model Nvidia recommends a power supply of at least 850 watts - that's an increase of 100 watts over the base RTX 3090.
The same recommendations are given by EVGA, which in its own version of the RTX 3090 Ti called FTW3 Ultra Gaming - its MSRP being $2199) - has overclocked the core by 60 MHz (to 1920 MHz).
Asus, meanwhile, recommends a 1000-watt power supply for its custom TUF RTX 3090 Ti card (via PC Gamer), whose core clocking during gameplay oscillates most of the time between 1.99 GHz and slightly above 2 GHz (in OC mode).
