GTA 6 Will Feature CircoLoco Records Radio Station? Rockstar Starts a Music Label
Rockstar Games started a collaboration with CircoLoco, as a result of which the CircoLoco Records music label was created. The first songs produced by the label will be heard on June 4. It is currently unknown if these songs will be used in the GTA series.
Rockstar Games has ventured into a new field. In collaboration with CircoLoco, the company has founded a music label - CircoLoco Records. The project is to help the club industry, which has suffered as a result of the pandemic. At this moment it is not known whether the songs created by the label will be featured in the next instalments of the GTA series.
As Rockstar stressed in its statement, music has always played an important role in the company and influenced the GTA franchise:
"Music has always been a fundamental part of Rockstar Games — from the championing of underground artists and scenes across our titles to the meticulously curated radio stations of the Grand Theft Auto series and the introduction of fully realized digital nightclubs in Grand Theft Auto Online with the After Hours update, as well as expanding the possibilities for in-game social spaces and music discovery with the release of The Cayo Perico Heist."
As intended, the first EP published by the label will be released on June 4. From that date, one song will be published once a week until July 9, when the full-length album will be released.
CircoLoco is involved in organizing many dance events around the world, and part of its activity is to promote independent house and techno music creators. Artists associated with them have already performed in GTA Online, including Blessed Madonna, Dixon or Keinemusik on the occasion of the Life After Hours and The Cayo Perico Heist update.
It remains to be seen if tracks released by CircoLoco Records will make their way into GTA games. For now, we can only look forward to the first materials released by the label.
