PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2 will not support ray-tracing.

The launch of the PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2 is fast approaching. As a result, we get to know more details about the game. Yesterday new 4K screenshots were published showing the title in its full glory. The community was particularly interested in the "RTX" logo, which could indicate that the game would support ray-tracing. The situation was explained to Nvidia, who said that RDR2 would not support this technology.

The post published on Nvidia's official Twitter account stated that the logo on Red Dead Redemption 2 screenshots refers to the GeForce RTX 20 series of graphics cards, not ray-tracing.

The PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2 will be available on Rockstar Games Launcher and Epic Games Store platforms on November 5. On Steam, the title will be released in December.
