69-year-old Achieves 100% Completion of Red Dead Redemption 2

One Reddit user bragged about his father's incredible feat. The 69-year-old gamer completed RDR2 in 100%. It took him almost 2 years to get through the game from Rockstar Games.

Reddit user kleverone bragged about his father's feat. The 69-year-old completed the game in 100 percent. Red Dead Redemption 2 was the only title he had played since 2019, the game's PC release.

Completion Red Dead Redemption 2 in 100 percent is no small feat. In addition to completing over 100 main story missions, you'd also have to complete all side quests. These include chasing fugitives, capturing gang hideouts, or repelling ambushes. That's not all - the player must also demonstrate their exploration skills, finding hidden treasures, graves of fallen comrades or sets of collectible cards. The multitude of hidden items to obtain, missions and activities to complete is impressive and not easy to master.

It's worth noting, however, that you don't have to do absolutely every activity in the game to achieve 100 percent completion status. In many cases, the creators gave us a lot of freedom of choice, manifested in the need to find only some of the items or discover a certain number of interesting places on the map. Nevertheless, taking into account the size of Red Dead Redemption 2it is a great achievement. That's something Reddit users have noticed, and they don't spare the 69-year-old any praise:

"It's been 2 years since I bought this game and I'm stuck at 98%. Big congrats to dad!"

This isn't the first time the 69-year-old has appeared on Reddit. User kleverone bragged some time ago that his father received a video message from Roger Clark, who plays Arthur Morgan - the protagonist of Red Dead Redemption 2. This nice surprise took place during the third playthrough.

More and more often you can see that the older generations can also have fun in the world of video games. Gaming is less often seen as a pastime only for young people, as evidenced by the comments under the post on Reddit:

"I love this game... I'll play it again - that was my first thought when I completed it 100%. I think the pace of this game appeals to the older gamer. I'm already in my 50s myself. Congratulations to dad!"
