Red Dead Online Finally Gets Solo Missions
Developers from Rockstar Games announced that Red Dead Online has a new category of missions - A New Source of Employment. What's interesting, the first three missions of this type offer single-player content.
IN A NUTSHELL:
- Red Dead Online received solo missions;
- The new category of scenarios is called A New Source of Employment;
- Three single-player missions are now available.
One of the things that Red Dead Online fans have been asking for for a long time are solo missions - it's quite natural, because we don't always feel like playing with company (not without significance is also the fact that the game's community can be quite toxic). It looks like with the latest update players finally got what they wanted.
The new category of scenarios is called A New Source of Employment. Tasks can be started by picking up a telegram at the post office or in the camp - when we do this, we are taken to our own, closed instance, where we won't encounter other players.
With the note in our backpack we have the opportunity to go replay the mission many times, and with each approach it becomes slightly more difficult and offers slightly better rewards (the creators mention "three levels of difficulty").
For now, we have access to three such tasks, which can be completed by all players - there are no restrictions, whether related to rank or anything else. Each mission is significantly different from the others. In one of them (A One Horse Deal) our goal is not to let the horse be sold (we have to tame it afterwards, which is a cool western theme), in the second (Rich Pickings) we rob a mansion in St. Denis, and the third (Outrider) is quite standard and consists in escorting a wagon.
Who knows, if this type of content will be popular, maybe the developers will introduce more such tasks to the game.
