Red Dead Redemption 2 is an iconic game that many consider to be one of the most polished titles ever. It has a beautiful, sometimes touching story, well-written characters, a huge world and lots of side activities, all bathed in a beautiful audiovisual setting. RDR2 looks great, but it could always be better. However, this is not about modifications for the game, but a next-gen console version..
Chance for a PS5 and Xbox X Series patch
As reported by Gamingbolt leaker operating on Twitter under the pseudonym AccountNGT has let it be known that Red Dead Redemption 2 may get a version for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Although this is admittedly just a rumor, the leaker has already shared information about games in the past, which over time were confirmed. Rockstar recently released the next-gen console version of GTA 5 and despite many voices of indignation concerning reheating the same meal, the developer noted another increase in interest in this title.
The point of RDR2 patch
Is there any point in making Red Dead Redemption 2 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, if the game is not that old and still looks phenomenal? In my opinion, yes, because it can always be better, and besides RDR2 deserves more attention from Rockstar. Gamers have been complaining that updates to this game expand the online mode with skins and unimportant items, while GTA Online is still being developed and some time ago received a major story expansion. Red Dead Redemption 2 is a game you want to come back to and it's worth giving players more reasons to do so.
