Curse of the Dead Gods developers, Passtech Games, released yesterday their newest game called Ravenswatch. Game is quite popular right now – today over 5 000 people was playing in the title at the same time (via SteamDB). If you are interested in this title, you can play alone or with friends. From this guide you will learn more about co-op.

Local Co-op in Ravenswatch Explained

Ravenswatch is top-down action-adventure game set in a fantasy world called Reverie. You will explore procedurally generated locations, completes quests and kills hordes of enemies during gameplay. So, this is the perfect game, to play with friends. But is it possible? This title allows you to play in co-op via Internet. Maximum number of players in one session is four.

However, if you want to play with friend in couch co-op then you won't have that opportunity. One of the developers from Passtech Games informed on Steam forum, that this function was too complicated to implement. Therefore, you can be sure that this function won’t appear in the game.

I'm sorry to say the splitscreen or couch co-op will not be implemented in the game as it is something to be thought quite early in the process so it is too complicated now – Lanfey Lockwood.

If you want to play in Ravenswatch with friends, all of you must have your own computer and copy of the game. You can’t just sit on the couch and play on split screen.
