- A gameplay from Rainbow Six: Quarantine has leaked;
- The video was posted on Reddit;
- Many elements of the game are based entirely on Rainbow Six: Siege.
Ubisoft doesn't spoil fans of the Rainbow Six series with information about Quarantine. Not even the title is certain when it comes to this game. However, Reddit user ThyroidMelanin managed to get their hands on a fragment of gameplay, and shared it with the community. The video was quickly deleted, but some players managed to download it earlier. Thanks to this, it could be analyzed by fans of Rainbow Six: Siege.
The shared fragment is very short. However, it enabled us to see that Quarantine has many common elements with Rainbow Six: Siege. We're dealing here with the same weapon modes, a similar system of point acquisition, and, of course, familiar characters. In the leaked fragment, we see Vigil, Lion, and Tachanka. It is known that the characters in Quarantine will retain their special abilities from the main installment. However, it is possible that they will be modified to better fit the new form of gameplay. The mission also lasts 15 minutes, just like in Rainbow Six: Siege.
The most important element that catches the attention in the short material is one of the forms in which the enemy parasite appears. The gameplay footage shows a black ooze covering the floor and an orange alien structure that explodes when shot. However, there are no moving enemies that stand in the way of players. In addition to the video fragment, the Reddit user also shared one of the skins that will appear in Rainbow Six: Quarantine, as well as a screenshot that shows off the escort mode.
