PS5 Without Backwards Compatibility With PS1, PS2 and PS3
Ubisoft has disclosed information on backward compatibility on PS5. It follows that it will only cover titles released on PS4. Previous generations will not be supported by this feature.

In March we wrote that backward compatibility of PS4 games on PlayStation 5 could include up to 4000 titles. The topic also returned in July. It wasn't confirmed at the time that this feature would be available on previous generation consoles. However, Ubisoft just cleared the doubt. On the page dedicated to the transfering of titles from PS4 to PS5, it has been noted that this will not be possible for titles from PS3, PS2 and PS1. Please note, however, that this is not an official announcement from Sony and the whole thing may only apply to games released by a French company.
