Finally, we learned the official details of PlayStation 5 Pro. During today's presentation, Sony finally revealed its cards and we got the launch date and price of the new console. We won't have to wait too long for the hardware.
PS5 Pro - specification
Rumors of the PS5 Pro presentation in September have been circulating for a while (although the actual date turned out to be different from the leaks), and Sony added to the excitement yesterday by announcing a stream titled "PS5 Pro." After the steam, it was revealed that many of the technical details align with the rumors: the new console will feature PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution Upscaling, higher processor frequency, faster memory, 45% faster rendering, double the processor power, and improved graphics. All of this will improve visual effects, detail reproduction, and realism in games.
PS5 Pro is also a step forward in ray tracing. The console will enable even more lifelike lighting and shadows, and enhance the quality of reflections on different surfaces. In combination with PSSR technology, the console will be able to increase the resolution and number of details in games with significantly higher fluidity - up to 60 FPS. Unfortunately, by default, it won't have a disk drive (it will have to be purchased separately).
PS5 Pro - price and release date
The console will hit the market on November 7, although pre-sales will start on September 26. As for the price of the PS5 Pro, it will obviously be more expensive than the standard version. We will have to pay for this pleasure $699.
Quoting Cerny, "PS5 Pro is the most powerful console Sony has ever created." The merging of powerful technologies will enable the console's capabilities to be balanced in terms of performance and graphics quality without having to compromise on either. There is something to wait for.
