Prince of Persia 6 Domain Put up for Sale

Registration of the Prince of Persia 6 domain aroused a lot of interest among fans of the franchise. However, the address is probably only a fake, prepared by a third-party company. The more so as it has just been put up for sale.

Will we wait long for the new adventures of the Prince of Persia?

At the beginning of May we informed that the Prince of Persia 6 domain was registered, which could herald the return of the well-known brand. Initial information indicated Ubisoft as its owner, but in the meantime some reasonable doubts about its legitimacy appeared. Now, the domain has been put up for sale.

In the announcement we read that the princeofpersia6.com domain has been launched on social media and information websites from all over the world and has already had over 15 thousand results in Google. Apparently someone decided to take advantage of the popularity of the franchise and the sentiment of players.

The case was referred to by a Reddit user, who was the author of the earlier leak. NayamAmarshe updated his entry and confirmed that the address is most likely a fake. It turns out that the entity that registered the domain was not Ubisoft's usual Gandi SAS, but godaddy. It also remains in the ClientHold status, which indicates that it has not been paid for yet. We have mentioned this in the news about a gameplay from the cancelled Prince of Persia: Redemption that was released years later.

This sad information does not necessarily mean that the fans will not get a new installment. Everything depends on Ubisoft.
