Price and Pre-orders of PS5 May be Just Around the Corner
It seems that we won't have to wait long for the official prices of PS5. It might even be a matter of hours. Probably as soon as they're released, the pre-orders in many stores will go live.
- Judging by the recent leaks, the official price information for PS5 and the launch of pre-orders is "just around the corner";
Sony's PlayStation 5 will not be available until a few months from now. That said, apparently we will soon find out exactly how much it will cost us, as some stores have prepared pre-order offers. Such conclusions can be drawn from recent events - the appearance of "place-holders" (some including prices) and signals from leaker.
We recently wrote about finding websites with prices for Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 on Polish store x-kom. The situation was commented on by a shop assistant (see the news for the full statement). However, let's take a closer look at certain words he used:
"It is known that we prepare such websites beforehand, when we already have the necessary materials (...)"
Does the word materials also mean prices? If so, there's a good chance that we already know the price of PS5. If not, however, nothing is lost, because we can see that release of official information is a matter of a few days or maybe even hours. This can happen at any time, which is suggested by many Twitter posts:
According to user Roberto Serrano, the price of PS5 were to be disclosed yesterday. Many websites like Forbes write about it. Relevant pages have also appeared in other stores, probably un preparation for pre-orders, as PS5 News writes on Twitter:
In the Australian website of Amazon we can now search for our PlayStation 5 with accessories and first games. The German Amazon website also gives the PS5 weight at 4.78 kg. The stores are all ready and waiting for the green light from Sony. This is likely to happen soon, so it's worth following our news, as well as PlayStation's official Twitter account as well as unofficial accounts related to PS5.
