You can buy such from a vendor who looks like a dwarf. If you do not have such an ingredient, you will have to use the road to the southeast. It is much longer and more difficult than the one directly to the east. Get ready for a winding journey.
Fire Protection Recipe (Water Map)
The following recipe, will allow you to go straight to the east from the centre of the map. To create Fire Protection Potion you must have 6x Waterbloom, Frost Sapphire, Terraria, Thunder Thistle.
