Playable Doom Eternal at PGA 2019
Polish publisher of Doom Eternal, Cenega, will enable us to play the demo version of the game at the upcoming Poznan Game Arena 2019. Participants will be able to check out the title at a special stand, which should sweeten the delayed release of the production.
The recent delay of Doom Eternal's release from this November to 2020 was a disappointment for many players. Undoubtedly, many have already prepared themselves to face the next demon army next month. The information provided by Cenega, the Polish publisher of the game, may provide some consolation to the fans. The company has announced that a possibility to play the new Doom will come during the upcoming Poznan Game Arena 2019, which will start on October 18. Participants of the event will be able to check out the game in a special zone in hall 5 at stand 21, prepared in cooperation with Bethesda and Asus. There they will find a dozen or so game stands where they will be able to play through a fragment of the story campaign.
Doom Eternal was to have its debut on November 22, on PC and current-gen consoles. Unfortunately, id Software decided to postpone the release considerably. The reason for this was - as usual - the desire to refine the production to meet the expectations of the players, spoiled by the 2016 Doom. The title received very warm reviews and gained recognition of the players, who immediately demanded a sequel. So it's easy to understand why the American team wants to put the finishing touches to everything, especially when you remember the not very enthusiastic spin-off of another iconic shooter series released by Bethesda.
This year's edition of Poznan Game Arena event will also be full of other attractions. In addition to Doom Eternal, the fair will feature the localized version of Cyberpunk 2077 as part of CD Projekt RED's presentation, and the winners of the CEEGA awards for the best independent artists from Central and Eastern Europe will be announced during the event. In addition, as always, you will be able to play in various productions, competitions, tournaments, etc. The fair will start on Friday, October 18 and will last until the end of next weekend. We'll be waiting much longer for the new Doom, which will be released on March 20, 2020 on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Switch.
