A Plague Tale Requiem is the second part of the adventures of Amicia and Hugo, who, after the events of A Plague Tale Innocence, are trying to find the ancient order of alchemists and magister Voudin to cure Hugo of a disease, called Macula in the game. The situation quickly gets complicated, and the siblings end up on La Cuna Island, which is a bit like the 2019 movie Midsommar. On there, they must find their inheritance hidden deep in ruins in the island's undergrounds.

How to reach the ruins at center of the Island in Chapter 11 The Cradle of Centuries?

The 11th chapter of the game, "The Cradle of Centuries", is an open location where we can freely run, explore and look for collectibles and secret chests. Unlike the rest of the levels and maps in the game, we are not confined by any linearity here. La Cuna Island also hides answers to many of the mysteries of the world of A Plague Tale Requiem, including the secret of Amicia and Hugo's predecessors and their fate.

You will return to La Cuna Island 3 times, the third time of which will be at night, during the rat plague. At that point, you will no longer be able to explore the island freely, instead you must head towards the center of the island to reach the ruins at the center of the map. This is the same place where you previously scorched the grass to discover the hidden map painted on the floor. You’ll get the new objective: Find a way inside the ruins.

In the very center of the island of La Cuna in Chapter XI The Cradle of Centuries, you will find ruins with a floor on which a map of the island has been painted. When you return to this place at night, you will already know that there is an underground (a temple, sanctuary or more appropriately, a prison) hidden under the map on the floor. The game suggests that we break the floor, but how to do it?

The problem with finding a way to smash the floor will occur if, after entering the ruins, you immediately jump down below. In the darkness it is difficult to find something that will enable you to break it and reveal the entrance to the ruins, but the solution is charmingly simple. You need to climb up to the level where there is a tall, lonely stone column. Just approach it and a small interaction icon will appear on the screen. Push the column down and it will destroy the map floor, revealing entrance to the ruins.
