New City-building Strategy Game From The Settlers Devs Got a Demo
A demo of Pioneers of Pagonia has just been released on Steam. How does the work of the creator of The Settlers series compare in the eyes of players?
If you are looking forward to the December's Early Access debut of Pioneers of Pagonia, we have good news. Developers from Envision Entertainment have released a demo version of this interestingly promising strategy game on Steam..
The demo enables you to check most of the basic gameplay mechanics and offers access to three maps of varying difficulty levels. However, as the developers stipulate, "it does not correspond to the quality and scope of the final version of the game."

The new work of the creator of the hit The Settlers, Volker Wertich, has already been tested by a group of interested players. From their sentiments it seems that we are dealing with a very pleasant and promising game. However, this does not mean that the game is free of any bugs. On the contrary, according to people who have already tested the new economic strategy, there is still a lot of work ahead of the developers to make the title better.

"Unfortunately, at the moment I can't make an iron shield in the forge. The indicator always drops to zero and production does not want to start," declares dlehmk.

As you can see, Pioneers of Pagonia for a known reason, will not avoid comparisons to The Settlers. Nevertheless, the new game does not have to be the loser in this duel. If the developers from Envision Entertainment listen to the opinions of players and refine the title, there is a chance that fans of the ruling champion will once again appreciate the undoubted talent of Volker Wertich.
