Phil Spencer: Gaming on XSX Will be Like Switching From 2D to 3D
Phil Spencer maintains community's interest in Xbox Series X, announcing the upcoming presentations of new games. In addition, he compared the revolution that will take place with this device to the leap that was achieved between 2D and 3D.
- Microsoft's Phil Spencer is convinced that the Xbox Series X will be a revolution in the vein of going from 2D to 3D;
- The company is also preparing to announce new games for the console.
Microsoft was the first to show the world its next-generation console, and to share details about what will be hidden inside it. As the "face" of the Xbox brand, Phil Spencer was asked on Twitter by one of the fans which technologies hidden in the Xbox X Series will allow a spectacular technological leap forward.
As it turns out, Spencer sees the biggest revolution in ray tracing, which is supposed to be "great", as well as in the so-called Dynamic Latency Input (DLI), a technology developed by Microsoft to minimize the delay in controls feedback. In his opinion, this, combined with the enormous bandwidth of the memory and SSD, will result in the Xbox Series X bringing a radical change compared to that of jumping from two to three dimensions.
Unfortunately, so far, Xbox gamers have not seen a comprehensive presentation of the games available for Microsoft's new console. When asked if the company had anything in mind for the near future, Spencer replied that his team realizes that players expect clarity and authenticity from it. So the company is going to follow this path, and fans won't have to wait too long for the next step. Which means, the gamers have no choice but to be patient for a while longer.
