Whether we want it or not, remasters and remakes are here to stay. Like every production, they can be well made or completely busted, but also anything in between. While everything shows that Persona 3 Reload is a great reimagination of the title originally released in 2007, there are some bumps along the way that a number of players experience. They report issues with the regular game crashes, sometimes even on startup. What gives? Let’s gather more information and see what can be done about this situation.

Persona 3 Reload crashes fix

As Persona 3 Reload seems to be ubiquitously praised, there are fans for whom the game crashes often. This does not seem to be connected to the hardware as even more powerful builds are affected by this issue.

There are, however, several solutions that players have come up with, so let’s see what fixes they have proposed:

1. The first and easiest thing to try is to limit framerate to 60fps. There are fans who claim that if it doesn’t completely fix the problem, at least it lowers the frequency of crashes.
2. There are some reports that Persona 3 Reload crashes with “vcruntime140.dll” error. This can be addressed by deactivating / unplugging one of the monitors connected to your machine.
3. There is a chance that if you have overclocked your GPU, turning it off can solve the problem.
4. In case the game launches correctly but crashes during gameplay, you should try lowering graphical settings, especially when it comes to reflections. For some reason, it seems to be poorly implemented.
