Perfect Dark Returns in New SF Thriller
The first game announced during The Game Awards 2020 was the reboot of Perfect Dark. It will be an SF FPS developed by The Initiative. It's heading for PC and Xbox consoles.
The fact that one of Microsoft's development studios may be working on a Perfect Dark reboot has been discussed online for a long time. Finally, we received an official confirmation. According to the rumors, Perfect Dark reboot, which is to be an FPP thriller, is being prepared by The Initiative. The team includes former developers from teams such as Crystal Dynamics, Rockstar Games, SIE Santa Monica, BioWare or Naughty Dog. On the occasion of the announcement, a very atmospheric cinematic trailer and a short interview with the devs were presented.
The main role will be played by the title agent Dark, and the action will be set in the near future. New installment of the Perfect Dark series will be coming to PC, Xbox Series X and Series S. The release date is unknown.
