PayDay 3 Surprises With New Teaser and Gameplay Announcement

Starbreeze has released a new teaser trailer for PayDay 3, the sequel to one of the most popular co-op shooter series of the last decade. The trailer reveals that official gameplay will be shown this summer.

PayDay 3 is an action game in which players will take on the role of members of a criminal group that specializes in robbing banks, jewelry stores, casinos and other heavily secured facilities. The game's main course will be a cooperative mode for up to four players, who must work together to complete tasks and escape with the loot.

The game will also offer RPG elements, such as character progression, weapon and outfit customization. The action will take place in "living, enourmous New York".

It is not yet known exactly when and where the gameplay presentation will take place, but it can be expected it to be one of the summer events of the game industry. You can find a list of them in our other news.

PayDay 3 is being developed by Starbreeze, creators of the series. The game is powered by Unreal Engine (still not sure whether it is UE4 or UE5). The title will be released on PC and current-gen consoles in 2023.
