Patch Will Improve Valhalla's Visuals on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S
One of Assassin's Creed: Valhalla devs has announced that the game's roadmap includes improving its graphics on PC, Xbox Series X/S and PS5.
Since its November release, Assassin's Creed: Valhalla has been regularly improved with subsequent updates. Thanks to Julien Laferriere's interview with Game Informer we learned a little more about the game's further development plans
It turns out that the developers are planning to improve the graphics of Assassin's Creed: Valhalla on PC, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5. The developers are happy with the quality of the visuals on these hardware platforms, but they see room for improvement and want to meet player expectations in this regard.
No details were provided, but it's worth noting that on XSX/S and PS5 Valhalladoes not offer native 4K resolution. Moreover, on none of the platforms does the title support ray tracing. The latter feature is available in Watch Dogs: Legion, another Ubisoft game from this year, both on PCs and next-gen consoles. It may be implemented in AC:V in the future.
Assassin's Creed: Valhalla launched on November 10 on PC, Xbox One, PS4, Xbox Series X/S and the Google Stadia streaming service. On PS5, the game was released with the debut of the console, i.e. November 12 in the USA and November 19 in rest of the world. After the launch, the game received several patches, which improved the shortcomings and introduced new content.
