Stardew Valley, a sandbox RPG created by the independent studio Concerned Ape that tells the story of a farmer's life, has received the 1.4 update. It adds a lot of new content and improvements to the game that should positively affect the players' experience. Developer Eric Barone informed about the most important changes in the blog note.
This update not only adds new content and features to the game, but improves the gameplay experience significantly with tons of “quality of life” features… including some things the community has requested for a long time. There’s also an enormous amount of bug fixes and some optimizations improvements–in short, the game is more polished than ever. I hope this update will greatly improve your Stardew Valley experience, and make your time in the valley even more joyful, seemless, and fun," wrote the creator.
What exactly was introduced to the game? We received a new map (called Four Corners), fish ponds (a structure that we can build on our farm) and events, more than 60 items, as well as a lot of clothes, including 181 shirts and 35 hats. In Stardew Valley there are also two new monsters and another two variations of mine levels. The soundtrack, now including 14 new tracks, was also significantly expanded.
When it comes to gameplay improvements, the most noteworthy are the redesig of the Jumino Kart mini-game and changes in building upgrades. The full list of modifications can be found at this address.
