Overwatch 2 PvP Gameplay Next Week
A two-hour stream is planned for next week, showcasing the PvP mode in Overwatch 2.
- May 20: stream dedicated to PvP gameplay,
- May 24: AMA session on Reddit.
Blizzard Entertainment announced, that on May 20, there will be a stream dedicated to PvP gameplay in Overwatch 2. The presentation will include new maps and significant changes in gameplay. The stream should arouse great interest among fans, because so far the devs have focused on showing the game's co-op mode.
Aaron Keller, who leads the team responsible for the series after the departure of Jeff Kaplan, said that the developers know that the PvP mode is the heart of the Overwatch brand and therefore it's high time to show what the sequel will offer in this regard.
Scheduled for May 20, the stream is expected to last two hours. It will be hosted by commentators known from the Overwatch League - Matt "Mr. X" Morello and Mitch "Uber" Leslie. People from Blizzard will also be present - apart from the aforementioned Keller, we will see Geoff Goodman (chief chara designer) and Dion Rogers, responsible for the art side.
In addition, on May 24, the fifth anniversary of the release of the first Overwatch, an AMA session will be organized on Reddit, during which the developers will answer questions from fans.
