Outriders Demo Patch Fixes Bugs and Disables Motion Blur
People Can Fly informed that Outriders demo will get a patch next week. The patch will fix the most serious problems and change the game's balance. We'll also get the option to disable motion blur.
IN A NUTSHELL:
- Outriders demo will receive a patch that will eliminate a number of issues;
- We're talking about, e.g. crashes and serious bugs;
- We'll also get balance corrections and option to disable motion blur.
The creators of Outriders - Polish studio People Can Fly - have informed that the demo, which was released over a week ago, will receive a patch that will eliminate the most serious problems and bugs (such as crashes, slow activity matchmaking or a bug experienced on PC, which removes the player's equipment in case of connection loss). We'll also get the long-awaited option to disable motion blur.
In addition, the developers plan to make a number of improvements in game balance - captains (enemy type) will become weaker, while Gauss (the first boss in Outriders) a bit stronger. Changes will also apply to the equipment - acquisition of powerful gear will be a bit harder (for example, epic gear can no longer be bought in the shop, and legendary items will no longer drop from chests), but by farming it we'll be able to focus on repeating the more enjoyable parts of the game.
Developers from People Can Fly say that they want to eliminate the most serious problems, but after that the demo will not be intensively developed and patched, because the creators must focus on working on completing the full version of the game. The discussed patch can be expected at the beginning of next week.
Outriders will debut on April 1, this year, on cPC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X / S.
