Outcast 2 Release Date Revealed
We have learned the exact release date of Outcast: A New Beginning, the sequel to the iconic 1999 action adventure game.
Fans of the original Outcast will be pleased to learn the exact release date of the upcoming second installment of this action adventure game series. Today, the developers have informed that Outcast: A New Beginning will debut on March 15, 2024.
Interestingly, THQ Nordic, the publisher of the sequel took a humorous approach to revealing this news. On X it published a distinctive-looking image with the announcement of "something big" along the lines of the graphic released by Rockstar recently. This "teaser announcement" of GTA VI has also been liked recently by many other developers.
Outcast: A New Beginning will come out almost 25 years after the first part, which was released in 1999. So we had to wait a very long time for the sequel. Developed by the Belgian studio Appeal (responsible for the original), the sequel has been announced in 2021.
In Outcast 2 we will once again explore the planet Adelpha as former US commando Cutter Slade. The protagonist will again strive to liberate the ancient Talan race and save the entire globe. The task will not be easy due to dangerous representatives of the local fauna and robots.
In combat, Cutter Slade uses, among other things, an energy shield and firearms, which will be freely customizable. The number of combinations of weapons created by the player is to exceed 9,000. In addition to battles, we will traverse the scenic Adelpha countryside with the help of a jet pack. Below you can watch the latest trailer showing the game world and skirmishes.
Outcast: A New Beginning will be released on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
