One of Dragon Age series writers left BioWare. „After 15 years, it just feels like a good time for a break”
Screenwriter Sylvia Feketekuty has resigned from the BioWare studio. The dev has recently been mainly associated with the Dragon Age series.
Screenwriter Sylvia Feketekuty announced her decision to leave BioWare studio. The dev worked in this team for 15 years.
- Feketekuty was responsible for characters such as Emmrich Volkarin in Dragon Age: The Veilguard and Josephine Montilyet in Dragon Age: Inquisition. She worked on Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3. She also participated in the work on the plot of Anthem.
- The screenwriter doesn't intend to leave the gaming industry. When she rests, she wants to start working on other projects.
- Commenting on her decision, Sylvia Feketekuty stated:
I'll really, really miss working with everyone there. But after 15 years, it just feels like a good time for a break.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard was released on October 31 this year for PC, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, and PlayStation 5.
We don't know exactly whether Dragon Age: The Veilguard met the publisher's expectations, but a fairly quick and significant discount may suggest that it didn't. BioWare is currently focused primarily on Mass Effect 5 and is unlikely to return to its fantasy franchise anytime soon.
