Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 Ti GPU Due to Debut in October
It looks like Nvidia may be getting ready to launch another GPU. According to rumors, GeForce GTX 1650 Ti would have its debut in the second half of October.
Chinese ndustry website ITHome reports (after PCGamesN) that Nvidia's new GeForce GTX 1650 Ti graphics card may debut on October 22. There's no telling what the specification of this chipset is; it will use either with the TU117 chip known from the GeForce GTX 1650, or the more powerful TU116 variant used in the GTX 1660 and 1660 Ti models.
Chinese journalists also report a possible price for the new model - it is supposed to be priced at 1100 yuan, which suggests that it will be sold in the U.S. for about 155 dollars. It's all the more interesting because "standard" GeForce GTX 1650 currently costs 150 dollars.
The above information should be considered as rumor - both in terms of the existence of the new card and its price. If the reports are confirmed, this could mean that Nvidia is preparing to reduce the price of the GeForce GTX 1650. This is all the more likely as budget variants of AMD Navi GPU will soon be available on the market (their official name is not known, but by some experts they are referred to as Radeon RX 5600). Such an anticipatory blow from Nvidia would not be anything we haven't seen before, and in this segment, the price-performance ratio is the primary criterion for the selection of hardware.
