Performance Issues in No More Room in Hell 2 (NMRiH2). Lags and Stutters Are Here
No More Room in Hell 2 was released in early access. Unfortunately, not everything went smoothly. Numerous players complain about technical issues like lags and stuttering.
A sequel to the well-known free-to-play co-op horror – No More Room in Hell 2 – was officially released in early access. Unfortunately, this title, like many other modern games, suffers from technical problems. Some players complain about lags and stuttering. In this guide you will learn more about these issues.
No More Room in Hell 2 Lags and Stuttering Explained
On Steam forum, you can find reports about lags, stuttering and crashes in No More Room in Hell 2. Let’s start with the first problem, as it is the easiest to explain. NMRiH2 has server issue. We have prepared a separate article about that, but to make it short, players are sent to random lobbies not to those closest to them.
In the case of crashes and stuttering, the situation is no different from other recent launches. There are no ideal solutions, sadly.
- First you should update your graphics card drivers – this is the simplest fix which may work.
- If you manage to open the game, you can also lower your graphic settings to reduce component usage (especially graphic cards).
- Sometimes the applications that work in the background (like Discord) also cause performance issues. So, you can try turning them off.
- If you experience out of memory error, it may not be NMRiH2 fault but your CPU's. We have written about it for example in our other guides.
The final solution for those issues is patience and waiting for future patches. The game is still in early access, so look forward to updates.
