NMS Titan expedition players are struggling with weird Crystal Sulphide bug
Learn what to do if collecting Crystal Sulphide in No Man’s Sky is driving you crazy. This bug could turn Sky and Sea milestone in Titan expedition to a real headache.

Worlds Part 2 update brought a lot of changes to No Man’s Sky, mostly good ones that improve gameplay. But, as always, some unexpected bugs slipped through. Players tackling the Titan expedition are running into something pretty strange when they try to get close to Crystal Sulphide.
There’s something wrong with Crystal Sulphide in NMS Titan expedition
Crystal Sulphide is an important ingredient in NMS for many crafting recipes and is also essential for Sky and Sea milestone in the Titan expedition. You can earn some as a reward for completing the Crush Zone milestone, but it definitely won’t be enough.
Crystal Sulphide is usually easy to find – it spawns in underwater vents, so any sea or lake should have it. But the problem is, when you try to collect it, you somehow get launched back to the surface. While the mineral does trigger a small blast of heated water that can cause damage, it shouldn’t send you flying that far. Unfortunately, this seems like a bug that needs fixing ASAP.
Some players have noticed a weird issue with underwater pressure after the latest update—go below 20u, and boom, you’re sent straight back to the surface. But this only happens on moons, not planets. So, if you’re trying to gather Crystal Sulphide on a moon, watch out for this bug. Hopefully, Hello Games will fix it soon.
That’s not the only issue with the Titan expedition – players are also trying to figure out how to find the Sunken Freighter, tornadoes, and resources like Storm Crystals, Sea Glass, and Chromatic Metal. But don’t worry, we’ve got guides for just about everything!
