No Man's Sky is a true phenomenon, proving that from a shallow and not very engaging gameplay you can make a game that will attract many players years later. The recent Outlaws update introduced additional content to the title.The Outlaws update adds things like space stations controlled by pirates. However, not everyone knows how to find them.

How to find pirates in No Man's Sky?

The latest update to NMS introduced a lot of new content, but players who return to this production after a long time may have problems with finding the new elements. An example are the pirates - we know that they were introduced with the update, but the game does not explain in any way how to find them. That, however, is really simple - you have to:

  1. Install two scanners on your ship: a conflict scanner and an economy scanner;
  2. Open the galaxy map;
  3. Scan the locations on the map and look for a system that says "Pirate Controlled" in its description;
  4. Look for a space station - by flying into it, you will notice that it differs from the known stations and is partially ruined; inside there will be pirates.

What do the pirates have to offer?

Reaching the pirate-controlled space station is only the beginning of the adventures introduced by the latest update. By interacting with them, we can trade, upgrade our ship, as well as accept tasks. We will have to, for example, attack a ship or collect goods from merchants.

The Outlaws update introduces much more content to the game than just pirate-occupied space stations. You can now also create your own squadron of ships.
