NFS Unbound Weighs Surprisingly Little
The latest installment of the iconic Need for Speed series surprises with its rather small data volume on disk.
Just a few days are left until the release of Need for Speed Unbound, thanks to which we learned that the game from Criterion Games takes up little disk space.
NFS Unbound won't eat up much space
Today launched the preload of NFS Unbound for EA Play subscribers and players who bought the Palace Edition (both groups are eligible to play in early access - launching tomorrow).
Thanks to this, it is known that on PlayStation 5 the game takes up 29.431 GB. On the other hand, on PC (EA App) the latest Need for Speed requires 31.58 GB of free disk space (although the system requirements suggested that it could be as much as 50 GB)
That's a small size by today's standards, and a nice change from the increasingly common cases of games that take up more than 100 GB, such as Forza Horizon 5 or Gran Turismo 7.
For players who don't own Palace Edition or the EA Play subscription, the preload will launch on November 30. The full launch, on the other hand, will take place on December 2, when NFS Unbound will finally hit PC, PS5 and XSX/S.
