The devs of the first Assassin's Creed didn't immediately know that they were working on a representative of an entirely new brand. The game, which turned into a best-selling series, was initially created as a spin-off of another, at the time equally notable series.

A fan has remastered the first Onimusha into 4K
The remaster of the first installment of the Onimusha series leaves much to be desired. The main problem is the ugly blurred pre-rendered backgrounds. Now this is no longer a problem thanks to a mod made by a dedicated fan.
