New Trailer of Evil Genius 2 Reveals Release Date
The second part of Evil Genius, subtitled World Domination, will be released on March 30, exclusively on Steam.
Today, Rebellion released another trailer for its upcoming game titled Evil Genius 2: World Domination, a sequel to the strategy game from 2004. Apart from a few new details about the work, the developers also revealed the release date, which recently had to be delayed due to problems caused by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The fate of evil geniuses, who want to take over the world, will be put into our hands on March 30, 2021.
Players will have a choice of four super villains: narcissistic despot Max, powerfully built Ivan, former spy Emma and mad scientist Zalika. Each of the characters will have their own campaign to complete. In addition, the developers promise both improved solutions known from the first part, as well as completely new mechanics and tools necessary to conquer the world. Rebellion announced that it's not the end of attractions and in the coming weeks the team will present one more game mode, about which we haven't heard anything yet.
The game will be a continuation of a title from 2004, in which the player takes on the role of a super villain who has a plan to take over the world. The whole game is kept in a light, humorous tone referring among others to classic James Bond movies from the 60s and 70s, as well as to the contemporary trilogy about Austin Powers. Initially the game will be released exclusively on Steam.
