Original news (December 10)
During the upcoming The Game Awards 2024 ceremony, we will certainly see new trailers for games such as Mafia: The Old Country and Borderlands 4. We also found out that this group will include Dying Light: The Beast, which is currently being developed by the Polish studio Techland.
Although the title of the game didn't appear in the developer's announcement, the phrase "Kyle suffers" is sufficient evidence that we are talking about The Beast. Kyle Crane is supposed to be the main character of this spin-off series, the release date of which we may find out during the industry awards ceremony.
Let's remember that Kyle was the protagonist of the first part of Dying Light. However, in the sequel, taking place twenty years after the events of the "first installment," his place in this role was taken by Aiden Caldwell.
Last month, more details about the discussed game were revealed by Tymon Smektala, the director of the series. He informed the players that Dying Light: The Beast is primarily a survival horror game, in which it will be exceptionally hard to survive. It's worth mentioning that the upcoming spin-off has been added to over a million players' wishlists, which only goes to show how highly anticipated this title is.
The official release date of Dying Light: The Beast isn't yet known. The title is set to hit PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
