The independent studio Funcom presented the game's story trailer for Dune: Awakening. The video shows what we can anticipate from the story following this MMO title in the style of the earlier Conan Exiles, transporting us to the world familiar from Frank Herbert's novels.

By the way, the devs announced that this year's edition of Gamescom will bring an extensive gameplay presentation. Today's material shown during the stream of the opening ceremony of the Summer Game Fest 2024 has already been made available on YouTube and you can watch it below.

Dune: Awakening is another game based on the cult fantasy series. According to the genre convention, thousands of players will fight for survival on the hostile desert planet of Arrakis. Here we will find both resource gathering and crafting, as well as diplomacy and armed conflicts. The planet will actively participate in the battle against the players, as sandstorms will not only hinder survival but also unveil new locations and restrict access to old ones.

Dune: Awakening is coming to PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S consoles.
