New Trailer for Detective Pikachu Returns Introduces Criminal Intrigue
A fresh trailer for Detective Pikachu Returns, an upcoming adventure game that is likely to be one of Nintendo's most important launches at the end of this year, has hit the web.

Nintendo has released a new trailer for Detective Pikachu Returns, the upcoming adventure game that is a sequel to the successful detective spin-off of the popular franchise.
Among other things, the trailer shows the game's plot background, presenting Rhyme City, where humans and Pokémon live side by side, as well as the main characters, including the titular Detective Pikachu and his partner Tim along with his family.
The trailer also shows the basic game mechanics. In the course of the investigations, Pikachu will talk to Pokemon, and Tim will talk to humans. Information obtained from them and traces found at crime scenes will be used to solve criminal puzzles. The use of the unique abilities of various Pokemon will also play an important role.
In the game we will deal with various cases. The two most important ones will involve the disappearance of Harry Goodman, i.e. Tim's father and Pikachu's former partner, as well as a daring robbery, as a result of which valuable jewels were stolen.
Recall that Detective Pikachu Returns is heading exclusively for Nintendo Switch. The game will be released on October 6, this year. Creatures Inc. is responsible for the game, the same team that developed the first part of the series released on 3DS in 2018.
