Developers from Firefly Studios confirmed that they are working on the next installment of the Stronghold series. New information about it can be expected soon.
- Firefly Studios is working on the next installment of Stronghold;
- The title is in the pre-production phase;
- The developers are also working on a strategy MMO game Romans: Age of Caesar and continue to support Stronghold Kingdoms.
The developers at Firefly Studios have posted a video on YouTube, in which they revealed their plans for 2022. Among other things, they confirmed that they are working on the next installment of the Stronghold series.
The creators have finished development of the previous installment, Lords of War, which enabled them to fully focus on working on the sequel. Unfortunately, we don't know much about it apart from the fact that it is in pre-production.
The developers said that they take fans' comments into account when designing the game. They also revealed that the first information about the game will be revealed soon.
However, this does not mean the publication of screenshots, artworks or recordings. These probably do not exist at the moment. What's more, we will have to wait a bit longer for the reveal of the game title itself.
Firefly Studios, however, intends to hold regular Q&A sessions, during which they will share with players the details of the upcoming game. Fans will thus get to know the overall concept of the title.
Other plans of Firefly Studios
New Stronghold is not the only project developed by Firefly. The studio is also working on two other items.
We are talking about the strategy MMO game Romans: Age of Caesar. The game will be available for testing during Steam Next Fest, which will run from February 21 to 28, this year.
The popular Stronghold Kingdoms will also be further developed. Fans of the title can expect more updates, which will introduce, among others, "new worlds and their types" to the game. All in all, Firefly Studios has a busy year ahead.
