New Season of SnowRunner on Year 2 Pass Trailer
The next seasons of SnowRunner have been announced as part of the Year 2 Pass season pass. Here's the latest trailer.
SnowRunner fans can rub their hands in glee, as the game has now officially announced the new seasons to be included in the Year 2 Pass. Fans of extreme off-road transport will get a total of four seasons with new regions, trucks and challenges. Some of the content will be available for free to all players - Immersive (hides the interface while playing) and New Game+ modes (enables us to continue playing after completing all tasks), cosmetic items, and something that all players have been waiting for: cross-play between Steam, Epic Games Store and Microsoft Store.
Start of Season 5, called Build & Dispatch, has been announced for September 9, 2021. We'll be driving on two new maps in the Rostov region, get two powerful Tatra trucks (Force and Phoenix) after rebuilding their factory, and get another addition for vehicles: dynamic ramps. Season 5 is also set to launch a cross-play feature.
Season 6, titled Haul & Hustle, will take us to a previously inaccessible region of the USA, where in harsh winter conditions we will be logging and transporting trees. New vehicles will appear and the gameplay will be very difficult due to limited resources.
Season 7, Complete and Conquer will focus on multiplayer gameplay, introducing elements of sports competition in off-road environment. The players will compete on a new tournament map and test their skills on tracks full of extreme obstacles.
Season 8 is to be, according to the devs, the largest addition, closing the Year 2 Pass in 2022. We know only that it will introduce a new region, vehicles and game mode.
As you can see, it's going to be a really interesting year for SnowRunner, which recently also appeared in Xbox Game Pass. It is worth mentioning that Year 2 Pass is already available for purchase and offers the players access to two new Tatra machines (813 and 805) and skins for Azov 5319, Azov 73210, YAR 87 and Voron AE-4380 trucks.
