New Cinematic Trailer for Metro Exodus
A new cinematic trailer has just appeared on A4 Games’ official Metro Exodus channel – Artyom’s Nightmare – which provides a story prologue to the game.
METRO EXODUX IN A NUTSHELL:
- Developer: 4A Games
- Publisher: Koch Media / Deep Silver
- Genre: FPS
- Platforms: PC (Epic Games Store), PlayStation 4, Xbox One
- Release date: February 15, 2019.
A new cinematic trailer for the post-apocalyptic shooter Metro Exodus from 4A Games has appeared on YouTube. This time it is a CGI trailer, which is supposed to be an introduction to the story of the game. The film was created by Platige Image (the company responsible for the memorable cinematic trailers for The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt). The footage lasts over 4 minutes and is available in 4K resolution.
A quarter century after nuclear war devastated the Earth, a few thousand survivors took refuge in the Moscow Metro. They believed they were the last remnants of humanity - but they were wrong. Only Artyom dared to dream of a life on the surface. But dreams can quickly turn to nightmares…,” as we read in the official press release.
We would like to remind you that Metro Exodus will debut on February 15 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC (only on the Epic Games Store platform, which has recently become a source of considerable controversy). Dmitrij Glukhovsky, the creator of the Metro universe, is also satisfied with the direction chosen by the creators of the game.
“Watching 4A Games take my characters off the page and onto the screen has been a privilege,” said Dmitry Glukhovsky, author of the original Metro novels. “I hope fans will enjoy this new glimpse into Artyom’s world.”
