Patch 1.4.3 adds a handful of novelties and fixes.

TaleWorlds released the announced update for Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord. Patch 1.4.3 doesn't bring the promised modding tools with it, but in return we have received a huge number of changes, including fixes for a variety of bugs. From now on, players can choose which troops they will take with them to bandit lairs, and the forces of the villains have been balanced. This should make clashes with thugs much less annoying. This includes various improvements related to the optimization and stability of the game, as well as a handful of fixed bugs realted to save files, villages, mercenaries, diplomacy etc.

Players were also given the option to enable automatic blocking, which was mentioned last week. For now, it only works in single player mode - just press the key responsible for blocking, and our character will choose the direction needed to repel the enemy blow. In turn, the new system of dialogues from the map level makes the conversations more efficient and without having to watch the loading screen. In addition, we have been given the promised stances for the warriors with polearm weapons to fight cavalry and three new shields and two armor from Sturgia. Celebration enthusiasts can also cheer with their troops in four different ways. Complete list of changes can be found on Steam.

The creators have not spared changes in Bannerlord's subsequent updates.

In addition to patch 1.4.3, TaleWorlds released a beta version of the 1.5.0 update, which also makes a lot of improvements to the game, although it will take some time before all players will see them. Unfortunately, the list of changes once again lack modding tools, although the studio has promised to deliver them later this month. It remains to be believed that the creators will keep their word.
