Netflix's Resident Evil - Plot Description Leaked
It is highly probable that a plot description for Netflix's adaptation of Resident Evil has leaked to the web. The series is supposed to take place in the city of Clearfield, Maryland, and obviously revolve around the subject of Umbrella corporation and the T-Virus turning people into zombies.

We first heard about Netflix's plans to make a live-action series based on the iconic Resident Evil series of survival horrors from Capcom last January. For a long time, however, little was heard of the title - it resurfaced only a few weeks ago. First, we received rumors that the production will consist of eight episodes, the shooting of which will start this summer, in South Africa among other locations. Later on, however, a plot description of the production appeared on the web by mistake. It was picked up by the fan website Resident Evil Wiki and posted on Twitter.
The source of the leak is Netflix's press site. The entry was quickly removed, but you can still read it through the WaybackMachine.
So it seems that Netflix's Resident Evil will not lack the elements characteristic of the game series - sinister companies, biological experiments and, of course, zombies. What may disappoint some people, however, is that the action of the show will not take place in the iconic Racoon City.
So far we don't know when Resident Evil will debut on Netflix. We also don't know the names of the cast. We will have to wait until the first official announcement for any details.
We would like to remind that the Resident Evil series is already quite well known to fans of widely understood cinematography. Between 2002 and 2016 as many as six films based on the license were made, directed by Paul W.S. Anderson with Milla Jovovovich in the lead role. They were produced by the German film company Constantin Film, which, according to the information from a year ago, also deals with the upcoming series for Netflix.
