Netflix is Looking for Actresses for Intriguing Roles in The Witcher Prequel

The creators of The Witcher: Blood Origin are looking for actresses for specific roles. There are 2 casting ads on the web with brief character profiles.

It's been a few months since the first announcement of prequel foe Netflix's The Witcher, called The Witcher: Blood Origin. At the beginning of September we informed about the fact that the writers started script consultations, and now we have found out about official job offers. On Faye Timby's twitter profile (she is responsible for the casting) we will find 2 advertisements with descriptions of female supporting characters from the series, called "character G" and "character Z", and thus profiles of the wanted actresses, who are going to play them.

And although we don't know the names of the characters, their short descriptions sound really intriguing. Based on the above announcements we are also able to determine when and where the shooting period of the series will begin. It will be shot in the UK from late May to September 2021. The premiere is scheduled for 2022, with Lauren Schmidt Hissrich and Declan de Barra being responsible for The Witcher: Blood Origin . The main role will probably be played by Jason Momoa.
